Your elopement isn’t *just* an amazing day with stunning views, and it’s not a photo shoot full of posing. It’s about what matters most to you: each other. How you move together to reveal your love language is what I look for, instead of making you do things for the camera.
To do this, I create a safe and comfortable environment. I feel like a friend with a camera, creatively capturing your relationship with as little direction as possible. This lets you fully be yourself and sink into the breathtaking-ness of this day.
As an avid backcountry traveler, I know every hidden nook and secret gem in the Kootenays. I can take you pretty much anywhere you can dream of: mountain, lake or forest.
And as your Nelson BC elopement photographer, I promise to be nowhere and everywhere at once. I will gather up each and every second with questionable grace, honest honour and a healthy dose of humour.

FAQ
We’re so excited… when will we get our photos?
I send you a few sneak peeks within a few days of your elopement (unless I’m traveling).
My goal is then to send you your gallery within 4-6 weeks.
But, it may take me up to 3 months, depending on my schedule. This doesn’t happen very often, but a little padding so you’re not too tingly with anticipation sets us both at ease!
We want you to be our photographer, but can we wait to book you? Do you offer payment plans?
I totally understand all the pieces that have to fit before you make the final decisions. But at the risk of being booked by the time you make your decision, you can pay the booking fee so that you know I’m there for you. Then I’m officially yours, and we can figure out the details as they fall into place. The non-refundable booking fee is 30% of the base collection.
Payment plans are available, individualized to what you need.
Can you recommend a trusted ELOPEMENT coordinator? Videographer? florist? all of the things?

What’s your travel and accommodation fee?
As a Nelson BC elopement photographer, I do not charge any additional travel fees for weddings within 2 hours of Nelson, regardless of how long it takes us to get somewhere from the parking lot.
